ORBCOMM (US) has made its first official visit to the SuperTest centre at Ormeau in Queensland since it assumed global ownership of the Euroscan Group which designs and installs leading temperature monitoring solutions for the Cold Chain. Euroscan Asia Pacific, also based at Ormeau is a privately owned Australian company that markets, installs and services Euroscan and ORBCOMM technologies throughout the Asia Pacific region.
The visitor was James Blumenfeld, Field Service Engineer and Product Specialist for ORBCOMM products. James included SuperTest and Euroscan Asia Pacific on his major technical tour through New Zealand, Australia and South Korea.
James said he was impressed with the Euroscan Asia Pacific headquarters, particularly because of its access to the SuperTest laboratory with its capacity to test all things relating to temperature, from mining a/c validation to Australian standard enthalpy calculations on refrigerated bodies and the actual capacity of leading refrigeration units.
Inside the big environmental chamber at SuperTest, a unique a/c capacity test was being performed on a mock-up of a bulldozer cabin.
