Euroscan Asia Pacific installation experts from Australia have supervised the second phase of advanced install training of HACCP compliant continuous temperature monitoring and recording technology in refrigerated trucks of the Havi Logistical Solutions fleet in the Philippines. Havi Logistics distribute product to McDonalds and other well-known restaurant chains. The Euroscan continuous temperature monitoring equipment has been adopted by all global Havi and Martin Brower fleets. In late October 2014, Euroscan Asia Pacific General Manager Jon Mitchell and Euroscan Manager of Global Projects and Support Nils Schnessing-Schneeberg were at Havi's distribution centre in Manila, installing the monitoring equipment in the second phase of an expected 150 trucks to service McDonalds in the Philippines.
Euroscan Asia Pacific is responsible for ensuring technical crews are well trained and authorised to carry out Euroscan installations. In a unique situation, technical staff from rival refrigerated transport systems, Carrier Transicold and Thermo King worked together on the first truck installation.
IRS Eastern Inc is the Carrier Transicold dealer in the Philippines and Thermo King is managed by Coolair Consolidated Inc.
By the end of 2015 Havi expect to have Euroscan's HACCP compliant continuous temperature monitoring installed in their privately owned fleet and 3PL (third party logistics) transports that move McDonalds products.
